You are welcome to self-refer to my service. I treat presentations in children, young people and adults such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and somatic disorders with EMDR and trauma informed, attachment focused, therapy.

I take referrals from GPs in Dorset and Hampshire who are seeking alternative treatments for patients when CBT and medication have failed.

I take instructions from Bournemouth and Portsmouth Family Courts, CAFCASS and solicitors who are seeking accurate assessments on family systems stuck in chronic litigation and, where possible, I provide short and long term, attachment focused, trauma informed, interventions to children and families traumatized by animosity and mistrust following divorce and separation.

I am the clinical lead for an Academy Trust that is made up of 11 primary schools and five secondary schools.

I provide EMDR to Dorset NHS staff in Dorset, traumatised by the pandemic, and I am an Accredited Provider for Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole Council.

My aim is to help adults and children, families and couples feel better and recover from the physical and psychological impact of trauma.

My practice is informed by Dan Hughes’ Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy and my work is supervised by a DDP consultant and trainer.

DDP is an evidence-based treatment that uses the fields of neuroscience and attachment theory to inform practice.

My EMDR practice is supervised by an EMDR trainer and consultant.

My practice is insured, and I subscribe to the online DBS service.

I am a registered Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist.
